How it Works: Submissions received before the first Saturday of the month are given to critiquers at that month’s CBC business meeting and returned the following month. Which equals quick turn around. The evaluators will write on your manuscript; we'll need enough postage to return all material on your SASE, and postal regulations require stamps rather than metering.
What to Send: For $25.00, you will receive a detailed feedback sheet and comments from three readers on the first 25 pages and synopsis of your manuscript. Readers will report on characters, story development, dialog, narrative, setting, and plot. This is a perfect opportunity for feedback if you don't have a critique group or if your only access to "readers" might be friends and relatives. This is a must use service!

Email your first 25 pages in either .rtf or .doc format (2003 or earlier) to endresultsfictioncritique@hotmail.com. Our coordinator will email you back with a confirmation and an address to mail your check to for $25.00 made out to Coeur du Bois. When email and check are both received the digital copies are than forwarded with score sheet to three judges on the first Saturday of the corresponding month. The digital copies and score sheet are due back to the coordinator on the first Saturday of the following month. Manuscripts should be submitted in standard industry format.
